You know when you explained this, it sounded all the more interesting, but that I read it over, it all makes sense. I love the repetition of "give a coin to bless you." It carries a curiosity with it making the reader want to delve, to find out what that means. The "infected soap dance" metaphor also is quite interesting. I like the way you scrambled Western and Eastern ideals.
